How We Work

When engaging Oculus Partners, we seek to understand the business objectives you want to achieve, what has been problematic in terms of accomplishing these objectives internally, the timing you need to meet and finally what level of depth you wish to achieve in this step of the work. Once we have gathered this information, we will first and foremost assess the fit we would provide for your ask and then the best way in which we can help you achieve your objectives.

We then work to detail a specific engagement approach that logically works through a progression and provides transparency to you and your team. This approach would involve regular checkpoints, interim readouts, and one on one meetings with the engagement sponsor. Where appropriate, we design interim work product deliverables that create awareness and multiple opportunities for feedback and adjustments. And finally, we look to ensure the appropriate socialization is incorporated into the program to ensure we support the engagement sponsor in creating organizational alignment.

As the scope and deliverables are being developed and finalized, we work to form the team that will be responsible for executing the work and an accountable engagement leader that will be your immediate point of contact. We draw on a diverse team that is regularly executing deliverables with our clients and when necessary, will source specific talent for less common domains through our extensive networks. Depending on the size and the complexity of the project our teams can be one to two people or as many as eight to ten for projects requiring multiple numbers of domain expertise.

Finally, we do partner with other firms when it is appropriate to do so. Specifically, when work we do can be paired naturally with process re-engineering, organizational effectiveness consulting or UI/UX engagements we will bring partners to the table where we have confidence in their ability to coordinate effectively and deliver broader value in a way that requires less oversight and coordination on the part of you, our client.

Our approach and processes have evolved and grown based on years of experience working with a diverse set of companies with diverse cultures giving us the firm foundation for ensuring success in our future engagements with clients.
